Or maybe it’s because car manufacturers don’t ship their cheaper models in the states, like the VW ID.3 for example.

GM seems to have decided not to cancel the Bolt, so maybe they are starting to wake up to the fact that not everyone wants a $65000 car.

I would not call ID.3 cheap. In my country it costs same as Tesla model 3.

Electric cars are also like really expensive.

I don't understand that though. One of the advantages of electric cars was supposed to be there were easier and cheaper to manufacture. Why are they more expensive than ice cars.

They require more copper, lithium, cobalt, rare earth elements, etc. All of those are expensive despite simpler manufacturing.

Nobody expected electric cars to be cheap. Lithium batteries are extremely expensive.
