I think the worst thing was that the Cal Arts animation style clearly took some influence from Bryan Lee O'Malley's art style.

I watched because he had a rick. I did not like the bass riffs. Also, Metric has a song in the movie. And Toronto was there. Don't remember much else.
Metric's song is the best part of the whole movie
I still love that song, it's one of my best driving jams
At least in the UK, I don't think anyone has ever talked to me about the film in real life. I don't think it was very popular over here.
