I think piped is able to bypass region locks.

Which country? If it's Japan, it might be because of copyright strikes or smth.

Works fine for me in the US.

Fascinating, do you guys have any anime related content like this on YouTube in Japan? Right now I can go search and find full eps of stuff, some of them one video and others split across many vids, others summarizing a season etc. Or do these show up as blocked there?

Yeah, there's plenty, but it's usually just still screenshots with voiceovers. For example

Is it just me or besides Spy X Family nothing really grabbed at me?

I personally have been super impressed with Frieren, but I get that that is a show that isn't necessarily for everybody. The other two shows I have been enjoying this season, Eminence in Shadow and 100GF, are similarly not for everybody as you either enjoy the humor or not since comedy can be really subjective (especially genre parodies like those two).

The Eminence In Shadow anime seems to lose some of the goofiness of the Manga. I feel like the anime keeps trying to show how OP he is rather than focus on how he’s making everything up as he goes.

Yeah, it is a bit more serious than the manga, but a bit more silly than the LN. It has struck a good balance for the general audience I think, but I do miss some of the manga-only gags. Things like super buff Minoru before he was isekai'd or the panels where Cid is called out as the protagonist, breaking the fourth wall really added comedy to the story.

I thought the same thing so I just just jumped into a few shows I normally wouldn't have picked up and was pleasantly surprised.

Protocol Rain and 16bit Sensation are both pretty nich, both centered around gaming. Both good enough where I'm looking forward to the next episode.

Overtake and MFGhost are both good if you are into racing. Overtake is the more serious of the two, MFGhost is more like initialD.

Funny you say this. I've only kept up with Overtake but I liked everything except the actual races. Lucky for me it seems to be a character drama centered around racing as opposed to a racing anime with some drama. Especially episode 4 really won me over and from what I remember nobody did any kind of racing in that episode.

Oh yeah it's def a drama before a racing anime. Surprisingly they do a decent job at explaining some of the technical parts of F4 racing. Looking forward to learning more along the way!

Hmm I will check those out. Thanks!
