emacs_without_a_keyboard was an interesting read - so how about emacs on chromebooks?

I had a cursory look at the chromebook keyboard and got scared - is it like Mac where the keys have different names but similar functions?

Perhaps there are config changes or packages needed?

Perhaps it's as different as evil vs holy modes?

Or is it basically impossible to use emacs on chromebooks?

That would have been cool: force all kids to write their book reports using vi (commands) in Google docs

I've been using it on my Chromebook since 3 years ago. It's great. I can use it as normally as I would in my Linux host. I don't bind though since a Chromebook doesn't have one unless mine is too old. Well, I have a long and beautiful pinky finger anyways.
