Plasma 6 Bugs

If you encounter a bug, proceed to https://bugs.kde.org/, check whether it has been reported.

If it hasn't, report it yourself.

PLEASE THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE POSTING HERE.

Developers do not look for reports on social media, so they will not see it and all it does is clutter up the feed.

Ever try finding something on your desktop in the dark without stepping on the cat or knocking stuff over?

That looks like the fluorescent one. The one people talk about is the plasma one.

Simple by default, powerful when needed 😎

You don't understand, the ring is placed on your shaft and now it's a glowing quest item. Making you irresistible.

In this context Lumens refers to Beeps per Boop rate.

[–] ivanafterall@kbin.social 3 points 1 year ago

You're telling me this thing beeps nearly 3,000 times per boop? Technology is advancing so fast. When I was a kid, we were lucky to get a beep per boop, and we were GRATEFUL for it.

Sir, you now must buy yourself into the KDE ecosystem starting at 19.99 + whatever we want to add. Its a preium desktop experince an must simply pay for it. Some people say its free and open sourced, but how can somthing be so good and well made that its free? LOL the kde devs are very BASED tho.

I know lots about lights and lighting design but it's of no help if im not sure what the context of this is lol

Ahm this is only a "plugin" to make the desktop brighter .

Wow, this thing outputs 40W. Combine a few and you've got a backup power supply, for one.

[–] NaoPb@eviltoast.org 2 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Would be nice if that were true. It's simply converting 40W into light and heat by making a piece of mercury run circles really fast with the power of a lightning storm.

[–] ivanafterall@kbin.social 3 points 1 year ago

That's way cooler than a power supply.

Get some solar panels and a ton of heat exchange engines, and a hundred of these could power a 250 watt PC
