That's right, get piped Youtube!
I just use Newpipe on mobile and Freetube on desktop.
It kind of sucks that I can't sync my watch lists anymore but you know what? I'll live.
Really the only thing I use actual YouTube for for the most part is on my TV to watch shit with my spouse (we spend time together! π) and watching stuff immediately after I wake up.
Then perish.
This show got so boring lately. Used to be funny. I dont know why but somewhere a long the lines the whole vibe changed.
I still have yet to see any ads
I have YouTube premium it's great. I don't understand why everyone is so mad.
Because many of the people on this site are cheap fucks to think Linux is the best os and everything should open source and free. The modern internet is so bad while still taking part in it.
But at the end of the day, I watch YouTube in peace without having to find ridiculous work arounds on all of my devices. So weβre happy and theyβre the ones upset
Yeah I am really confused why people are mad. Sure it sucks that something was free with no ads now has ads/isn't free. But was it not obvious that YouTube is unsustainable without adding some kind of income, ads or subscription charges? This day was always coming. I am actually kind of surprised how long it took for YouTube to start combating ads blocks.
YouTube for all its faults, is an incredible service. I know of no alternative service like it. It costs money to run YouTube why should they provide it for free?
Because I don't really care about anything YouTube Premium has to off except for ads and I'm not paying nearly $15 a month for just no ads.
