Hmm, doesn't feel like a rebrand will do them much good. Skillhunt at least had some brand recognition in entusiast circles. ESKTE sounds like some Amazon spam company with a random letter combination name...

Too bad CSTEBOKE wasn’t still available!

Who the hell comes up with these names?!

The random generator. /s

As they've explained its pronounced like the letters S, K and T. The had used the brand SKT already in 2018 for a single product.

That makes more sense.

I was struggling to pronounce it

I read through the update on their website, and it is not clear to me why they are doing this rebranding to ESKTE.

Does anyone have some better understanding or insight?

There is some more explanation in this post: https://budgetlightforum.com/t/new-brand-eskte-and-new-model-h150/219228

I also feel the name is a downgrade and within that thread it sounds like maybe they are listening to the feedback and “Skilhunt” will still be used in some way along with this new brand.
