It's obvious to anyone using Amazon. I just hope the FTC holds fast and that we actually, for once, see regulations work.

Enshittification in its most literal and obvious form. And the author was either kind, or very very lucky, to get any useful search results at all in less than an hour of scrolling.

This particular type of enshittification is called chokepoint capitalism.

Their whole foods delivery send me bad chicken and bone broth. Waited forever to tell anyone, and then sent an email saying yea they fucked up. Here’s a customer service number to call. The number doesn’t work.

That’s the future we are getting with billionaire hacks in charge.

Dystopia is here, just hasn’t taken over yet.
