I played the demo and I would recommend!

I have about 100 hours in Hammerwatch, 200 hours in Heroes of Hammerwatch (mostly coop), but only 20 hours in Hammerwatch 2 (big miss for me). So for Heroes of Hammerwatch 2 I played the demo and was sold right away, played the demo again in coop and it was awesome as well.

Looking forward to putting the hours in this one.

Hammerwatch was a huge miss for me. Should I check out the other games?

very different games, hammerwatch is more like gauntlet with no meta progression and HoH is more of an action rpg (think diablo) with meta progression between runs like other roguelites have it.

I liked the first one better. I guess I was just looking for the rogue-like fix of "failing forward" on subsequent runs, but the gameplay loop is much wider on the second one and that didn't quite satisfy me the same way.
