He doesn't need to run. His parents were so wealthy they immunized him against all consequences of his actions. Even South Park didn't dare depict him.
Well y'see the truth he's been running from is that mommy and daddy didn't care about him and couldn't be bothered to give him any of their attention - too busy with all that wealth - so they let him be raised by the TV.
So now he's grown older but not wiser, and he's still just that little boy that needs attention, and approval, and the thing he hates most actively is people who speak badly of him, who don't give him that approval he needs so desperately, but what he really can't handle is not getting attention.
Motherfucker got reelected President, he ain't running from shit. If anything, he's just setting the stage for the people he's already going to have imprisoned.

Florida district court Judge Aileen Cannon’s latest comically pro-Trump ruling, her order Tuesday that temporarily blocks the public release of Smith’s report on his two criminal investigations of Trump, remains a big deal.
Cannon's ruling isn't some sudden motion here. The core argument for tossing out the entire case is predicated on Jack Smith not being appointed per 28 USC § 515. Cannon agreed with the motion that Jack Smith wasn't appointed correctly. Obviously the DOJ disagreed. So the whole thing went to appeals.
All Cannon is doing is indicating that the Government can not release a report that a person who wasn't correctly appointed created. This was absolutely something everyone knew was coming. This is just the logical follow up of what she already ruled on. I'm not saying she's correct in her determination, just saying that this was absolutely expected to happen like way back when the case was originally tossed out.

Which is absolute nonsense because all publications by the US government are owed to the public whether they were created "correctly" or not. This is properly a FOIA issue; everything else is a red herring.
