I was going to post a thread discussion on it, but hasn't got around to it. We can just use this one as the thread discussion. :-)

Consider it spoilers all, everyone.

OP: could you edit the title to reflect that it's spoilers all?

Didn’t get to my phone all day due to a particularly busy day at work which included an electrical fire 🤯, updated.

I was expecting it to be a closed mini series, didn't expect the partial closure of the plot points.

I’d also like to add again the scale of this show just feels minuscule. Dune is the entire known universe but the emperor only has a few guards? His audience and dinners are just a handful? The movies feel massive. This is just sad.

to an extent i agree. but within the scope of this single season, which had a hard time getting off the ground, i was pleased with the outcome.

question. were the thinking-machines inside of the worm which Desmond Hart was swallowed up in? in Valya's vision at the end it shows Desmond getting swallowed up and then he is being operated upon.

so like, the machines are inside of the worm?

This is what I understand, like somehow machines are still working inside the worms.

Honestly the show continues to be nothing. Such bland writing. This is supposed to be a big episode but nothing beyond what we already know is really happening… I would rather have no show than this. It’s like what Disney is doing to Star wars

I felt a bit underwhelmed by it. They seemed to cream a bunch of stuff in there, and so the pace was a bit jarring compared to previous episodes (which might say more about how slow the previous episodes were). Some of the plot reveals made no sense to me at the time. But I might need to rewatch it. Maybe it will make more sense then.
