The NDP, as the nominal social democratic alternative, finds itself in an almost impossible political position. What progressive gains have been secured over the past several years were no doubt the result of NDP pressure, mostly through the supply-and-confidence agreement. Having recently propped up the government, however, it’s difficult to pivot to a posture of attack. The NDP consequently finds itself treading water.

funny how that repl8cates to a T US situation with Drmocrats.

NDP undoubtedly cleverly leveraged their positio in the past, but public opinion is blind and fickle so nobody will give them credit for anything. In other words we're f#cked unless Poliviere buries himself somehow...

It doesn’t have to be a voluntary act.

Almost as if the businesses and CEOs are coordinating, globally, to punish workers (mass layoffs and record profits, anyone?), then run the media (that they own) message that it's the govs fault, and only the CEOs working with the cons can help!

Please save us oh mighty and powerful billionaires from the greed and corruption only you can end.
