Summary

Former Detroit Lions linebacker Leander Antwione Williams has been charged with multiple felonies, including assaulting police officers, for his role in the Jan. 6 Capitol attack.

Arrested in Georgia, Williams is accused of physically confronting officers, swatting riot-control spray, and striking an officer.

Identified via FBI photos and evidence linking him to the scene, Williams faces two felony charges and three misdemeanors.

He joins over 1,561 individuals charged in connection with the riot, which caused $1.5 million in damages. Williams played for the Lions during the 2016 NFL season.

It must be very hard for these investigators knowing that Trump may be throwing away all their efforts by pardoning these terrorists in the very near future.

As long as it's on the record we can find out before say, hiring or dating these people. Also if they commit further crimes these ones are still on the record, they aren't declared innocent by pardons so perhaps a judge will not treat them as first-time offenders when it comes to bond hearings or sentencing.
