I suspect those dolls, still in the packaging, will be quite the collector's item in the future.

The Rules
Posts must be:
- Links to news stories from...
- ...credible sources, with...
- ...their original headlines, that...
- ...would make people who see the headline think, “That has got to be a story from The Onion, America’s Finest News Source.”
Comments must abide by the server rules for Lemmy.world and generally abstain from trollish, bigoted, or otherwise disruptive behavior that makes this community less fun for everyone.
And that’s basically it!
I'm always surprised to go another day where I don't hear anyone mention the risk of this mixup with Tushy, the anal porn site, and Hello Tushy, the bidet company.
Maybe they do crossover marketing?
People who do butt stuff are probably a huge market for bidets in America, and other places that they aren't as common.
You need more than a bidet to clean your asshole for penetration
You’re not gonna tell us the website?
Body of the post, right under the link description.
sounds like it wasn't intentional.
or at least plausible deniability is a thing.
I’m on mobile. I legit don’t see it anywhere. I must be blind.
Might be time to get a better Lemmy app
Oh. I was looking in the article itself.
OP says they linked to wicked.com, which I've never heard of but does look like a pay porn site.
I checked it out... for science. Has big "brunch team" energy. The subscription should come with a free bowl of soup.
Also it doesn't seem to let you see anything risque without logging in, so honestly even if a kid went to the site they wouldn't see anything
You can def see some clips on there without logging in
Ah, I didn't do enough digging
I only found them bc I was pretty sure an ex and I rented one from that company on VHS in the 90s so I went looking to see if they still had the really old ones.
A discussion on the other site claimed that the fuck-up was in the copy that Universal sent to Mattel.
And that wrong websites frequently end up on packaging in other industries.
Mattel seem to be doing the sorry-dance for it, so no idea if it's true. Though I'm sure Universal would be very keen to not be involved.
