[The] case is dismissed pending appeal and no longer in her courtroom. If it lands back in her court after appeal, that is the perfect ammunition for Jack Smith to request she step aside, if the appeals court doesn't take that extreme on their own accord. They've already been pretty belligerent toward her prior decisions because of her gross incompetence.

It's not outside of the realm of possibility that this may backfire for Trump, especially if he loses the election.
