Chronicle the life and tale of the fediverse (+ matrix)

Largely a sublemmy about capturing drama, from fediverse spanning drama to just lemmy drama.

Includes lore like how a instance got it's name, how an instance got defederated, how an admin got doxxed, fedihistory etc

(New) This sub's intentions is to an archive/newspaper, as in preferably don't get into fights with each other or the ppl featured in the drama

Machine translation:

Last year the subject was raised by @AlexisFR@jlai.lu and I would like to relaunch the idea of de-federating this body.

I have been browsing for some time without blocking any instances in order to simulate a little the experience of someone who joins the fediverse via the jlai.lu instance.

The posts that appear in the feed and the behavior of most users of this instance simply pollute the Lemmy experience.

Even without talking about possible links with CSR, Kremlin etc... I think that, in my humble opinion, their behavior and their ways of brigandizing and defaming an opinion that diverges only slightly from their current of thought, sincerely goes against the state of mind of our community on this instance.

I opposed, without really taking a stand last year, a de-federation (given that they are not French-speaking and that I like the inter-instance drama from time to time) but their constantly astonishing positions and (to weigh my words as much as possible) flagrant cognitive dissonance, I must say that enough is enough.

I sincerely think that despite the fact that our interactions are quite minimal with this body, I think that in the long term their influence is harmful and that, in the idea of keeping a certain serenity for the people and future people who will use this body, that there is a de-federation of this body from ours.

Hexbear in a nutshell. They externalize their self-hatred onto others because it's easier than actually fixing themselves
