Because there’s a material difference between “absolute fucking asshole who won’t stop supplying those murdering fucks with weapons” and “absolute fucking asshole who is going to send squadrons of B-52s to pound Gaza and the West Bank into grade #8 gravel and break ground on the brand new beachside Trump Tower Gaza”.

I am genuinely so fucking sick of explaining that there’s a fucking difference here. If you can’t see that there is a difference, I don’t think I can help you with your cranial-rectal inversion problem.

Complicit? Check. Implicated in definite war crimes? Most probably. Fascist? Not quite... We throw terms around a bit lightly, and all it does is muddy the waters and make the term carry less weight.

They are literally the ones funding the genocide and sending people to enlist in the IDF to keep doing the genocide and weapons for the genocide. This is literally the Democrats genocide, no matter how you spin it.

You know, there’s a very, very small part of me that wants Trump to win so you can watch in horror as the casualty rate for Palestinians skyrockets by 10x or more, just so I can scream in your ear

I of course hope he loses, because an actual (as in, not hyperbolic/agitprop) fascist regime being in charge of the US would be incredibly catastrophic in FAR more areas and contexts than just Gaza.

The most superficial understanding of fascism. The original definition by Benito Mussolini was that fascism is corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power. Both parties very clearly represent the corporate class first and foremost.
