James Earl Jones, the distinguished and prolific actor in films, TV and theater known for providing the voice of Darth Vader in "Star Wars," has died.

Noo!!! First of all, what an incredible actor. Secondly, he played such classic roles that were staples in so many of our lives. Darth Vader's voice, king Jaffe Jofer, Mufasa, Mr. Mertle... The list goes on and on. Such a legend. His infectious smile and legendary voice will be sorely missed.

Well that sucks - he had a good innings and his work touched millions but still it's sad to see him go.
