Hey y'all. I'm new to these parts and am really settling into Lemmy. I am looking for YouTube channels I can have playing in the background while I work from home. I benefit from body doubling so watching someone else work keeps me focused while I work alone. I'm looking for content creators that record their builds in a workshop without much dialogue. Fly on the wall type stuff.

Thanks in advance!

Hard to get much better than Adam Savage and the Tested crew https://www.youtube.com/@tested

Adam does long from videos of tons of stuff he builds. I find his build videos to be very zen.

I strongly recommend Epic Upcycling although the table saw noise can be jarring, AT Restorations and byOldHand. Edited to add: New Yorkshire Workshop makes a lot of cool projects, and you can also follow his journey to restore a Victorian house with proper aesthetics and techniques.

My absolute favorite is primitive technology. I can turn that on and just lose hours. No dialogue, marginal sound effects.
