Mabuhay at maligayang pag-alis sa Lemmy! ✈️

An abandoned community for the Philippines and all things Filipino! 🇵🇭

Started out as a Reddit alternative during the blackout from Jun 12-21, 2023 with over 1k members in just a few days. Fizzled faster than the "I Didn't Do It" kid after a month until it became the internet's Centralia in less than a year.

Nice to see na nilalampaso ng oppenheimer ang barbie here sa ph. Even last saturday jampacked sa sm cinemas ang oppenheimer, both in imax and regular theaters, while barbie walang kapila pila. Don't support the chinese sell out movie.

I rarely see movies nowadays but judging from the impressions, the movie has far more to give that outweighs whatever perceived shortcomings over some silly drawn lines.

I've seen the movie and the map was indeed a stupid kid's drawing. Even U.S. was drawn in such a way to represent the entire North America, lol.

I agreed with the MTRCB in their previous attempts to ban movies for perceived slights (Plane, Abominable, Uncharted), but in this case, reach talaga yung accusation ng Vietnam.
