Would really like to jump ship from Brave back to Firefox, but the lack of ad blocking on iOS is somewhat of a blocker.

I’ve tried strict tracking protection and Firefox focus, but it doesn’t quite get the job done without filter lists.

Do we know of any solutions or projected feature releases that could improve the situation?

Adguard pro does this. Dns level blocking and also safari extension.

Do you mean to say AdGuard pro (non-VPN) works on Firefox too?

No, i mean the only effective way to block ads on ios is with adguard pro dns protection, covers the whole OS not just the browser. Disables ads in apps, games, etc. Will affect games who give you the option to watch an ad to get free stuff since they won't be able to connect to the ad server. As far as i know only safari has extension and adblock support from the browser side.
