Ran out two days ago, had a busy day yesterday, was sure I'd do it today but fell into a FOSS hole trying to setup some stuff and now here we are. Getting the first rushes of anxiety, actual bursts I can feel. It's only Citalopram, so I won't be going through withdrawals or anything crazy, but dang this sucks.

Anyways thanks for listening, I wanted to tell someone and figured chat might as well be a good spot. Anyone else got exciting medicine stories they'd like to share?

"only (es)citalopram" withdrawal made me feel like I have a 9 volt in my brain zapping me every time I move my eyes. And that was during controlled tapering. It took me 6 months proper for them to go away. Now on my third month of tapering Trazodone which worked well for me with very little side effects but I feel ready to face the world with as little medication as possible. Funny thing, Trazodone doesn't give the brain zaps but the withdrawal headaches rival migraines. Going from 150mg to 75 was a piece of cake. Going from 75 to 50 made me question if I should really do this. Now alternating between 25 and 12.5 every other day, things are looking much better.

I also have a cabinet full of different antipsychotics and antidepressants. These lil buggers saved my life in more ways than one. Bipolar sucks but I'm glad to be in remission for now!

All 2 SSRIs I've been on have given me nervous system zaps as well, with any level of tapering.
