Socialist rule? What countries are those? AFAIK it’s been more like

NL: right to ultra right
BE: center to center right
FR: center
DE: center to center left(ish)
NO: right
SV: center left to right
etc

so enlighten me about this “socialist rule”.

I think that refers to Portugal being ruled by the Socialist party for 8 years

Actually in any sane country the Portuguese Socialist party would be considered neoliberal
