Hey,

My 7hz timeless came with a 4.4mm balance cable and my upcoming Qudelix has a2.5 mm balanced input.

Will an adapter be ok? Can it damage something, if they’re both balanced?

Thanks for any input

Thanks, how can I tell? Just found this amazing item on AliExpress. Check it out! ₪17.14 34% Off | Audio Cable 2.5 Male To 4.4 Female Balanced Silver-Plating Cord 2.5mm/4.4mm To 3.5mm Adapter For Hifi MP3 Music Player https://a.aliexpress.com/_EH0Tssl

you can tell by how many black rings it has, TRS only has 2.

That cable appears to be TRRS for the 4.4 female -> 2.5 male. however it will probably still work, as TRRS into a TRS socket only sometimes causes problems. Just know that on occasion you'll run into issues, but then you'll know what to check first :)

Alternatively you can buy a replacement cable that way you don't have a large adapter that could become cumbersome, although it would be more expensive than an adapter. Decent cables go for about $20, I recommend Tripowin brand. Just make sure that it is MMCX to 2.5mm or 3.5mm. Be aware that 3.5mm will not be balanced but will still work with the Qudelix

I actually did, but I really love the original 7hz cable
