I've definitely turned into the paranoid nutcase within my friend group in recent years, I hate that everything is "smart" nowadays requiring an app/internet connection & account, just to do basic things that didn't require any of that before.

What's some things currently making you ramble like an old man?

Cancel culture.

It exists. Ask any man falsely accused of rape, sexual assault, or generally being a creep.

News flash: Turnabout is fair play. Don’t come crying to me when you offend the Groupmind and get persona non grata’d.

I've heard a few people I respect warning against cancel culture, but I've not understood why.

But your news flash helped me get it. Thanks.

I guess it is a very clear red flag when a philosophy reduces individuals to either black or white. Only a Sith deals in absolutes.
