If we don't stop captitalism before colonizing the galaxy, we're getting Warhammer 40k. No way around it.
If we don't move beyond capitalism in a very short amount of time, we're not going anywhere, so no need to worry
And we all know that that won't happen. It never ceases to amaze me that we, as a race, made it so far and discovered so many things that the way we live must seem like magic to our ancestors, if there were to see it. And on the other hand you have so many idiots running around that you lose faith in humankind as a whole.
I don't think we will make it. We're still too primitive to grow beyond our deficits.
