Plenty of blue states they could move to.
It wouldn't matter; the loan that they were supposed to get from the Dept. of Energy isn't coming through, so they won't have the money for a plant regardless of what state they wanted to move to. Unless the state wanted to fund them, but that isn't very likely, since the state individually won't see a benefit from that kind of loan/tax break.
The writing is on the wall that the federal govt is anti EV and it’s just too much risk to invest in the US for that type of business. I think the other EV plant cancellation two weeks ago actually had state or local funding or credits.
