Is that a normal final/base approach for a glider? Seems like it was super early.

Also, crazy that gliders have glass cockpits now

Ye that final was a bit odd. Keep in mind when we join the circuit in a glider we are a lot closer to the runway as compared to power aircraft. I'm assuming also he probably wanted to land sooner rather than later.

Yeah I could believe that's a normal glider approach. Just looks weird having only powered flight experience
