probably better and easier to just lower brightness and hold the device further away
And get a blue-light filter: https://justgetflux.com/ . I set it to the absolute minimum at all times. Unless I'm doing photo editing, I don't notice the colour difference.
I feel stupid now. I just put on the blue light filter and itβs like instantly improved. Thank you!
The phone app is also great. Flux is my first download on any new device.
Don't most mobile operating systems support this natively already? I can't think of a single phone I've had in the last 10 years that didn't have this built in. Most desktop operating systems, too. I haven't needed to use f.lux in ages.
They probably do. It's just a habit thing for me. I already know how I like to set Flux and it's free so I just downloaded it instead of using my Galaxy's blue light filter.
