He smiles as she yells,"BOO!"

Shermy walks by him and says,"Hello, fatty!"

He looks down as Snoopy walks by.

Snoopy looks at him questioningly as he shouts,"Don't say it!!"

He walks off sighing.

He walks over to the telephone which sits on a table. He picks up the receiver and says,"Hello, operator?"

He leans on the table and asks,"Will you tell me a story?"

Patty watches them go and Shermy says,"See?"

Shermy and Patty stand facing each other. She spreads her hands and exclaims,"I can't marry you, Shermy!"

He follows her as she walks off. He asks,"Why not?" She replies,"I haven't known you long enough!"

As she stands on the steps facing him, he asks,"Well, what do you expect?"

He concludes,"I've only been alive for a few years!"

Charlie Brown replies,"Let's roast wieners!"

They run off and Patty exclaims,"I'll bring the cake!" Shermy exclaims,"I'll bring the ice cream!"

Patty asks, "What will you bring, Charlie Brown?"

They stop as he replies,"Me!"

Charlie Brown sits in the chair reading, with his feet propped on a foot-stool. He looks up startled as Snoopy leaps over him.

He is confused as Snoopy does it again.

He exclaims angrily as Snoopy does it again.

He looks down at a sitting Snoopy and exclaims,"You can't possibly realize how annoying that is!"

He walks down the hallway.

He looks at the clock which is sitting on a cabinet with a vase of flowers behind it. He is puzzled.

He smiles and looks up at her with his hands outstretched, holding his right hand slightly higher than his left one. She looks at him and says,"Ten minutes to three? All right, thank you"

He continues to chase the bird as it flies over the frozen lake.

Snoopy panics as he starts to slip and slide on the lake.

Charlie Brown looks as Shermy walks up to him with his hand outstretched. The latter says,"Let's you an' me grip!"

As Shermy squeezes his hand, Charlie Brown yells in pain.

Alone, he rubs his hurting hand and shudders in relief.

Snoopy sits on the floor and looks up at Charlie Brown confused, as the latter walks up to him with his hand outstretched and says,"Let's you an' me grip!"

Shermy and Charlie Brown stand in the snow-covered field, in the winter clothes, talking. The latter says,"Hello, Shermy" Shermy replies,"Hello, Charlie Brown"

Charlie Brown looks over to his right and says,"Looks like it may get a little colder...." Shermy looks up into the sky and agrees,"Yes, it looks that way..."

Charlie Brown turns to walk off and raises his hand in farewell. He says,"Well, don't take any wooden nickels!" Shermy also turs to leave and lifts his hand in farewell. He says,"Don't do anything I wouldn't do!"

Charlie Brown walks along concluding,"Now there was a real adult conversation!"
