It means that the key to getting a company to ditch arbitration is for enough people to win individual arbitration cases. There's arbitration lawyers who hedge their whole careers on arbitration payouts

The linked tweet includes a video of Macklemore live performing Hind's Hall, with some updated lyrics (for example, speaking to Kamala). The replies are people saying "I agree with all of the lyrics"

Jan 6th made him the worst, say what you want about Buchanan or Jackson but at least they did their atrocities within the system they were elected to uphold.

"Say what you want about genocides, at least they weren't Jan 6"

Post here if you’re able to help mod, we’d greatly appreciate it.

Ideally your account should be on lemmy.ml, and also have a history of posting here.

What happens there is a human catastrophe, comparable to what Nazi Germany did in the second world war.

So long hexbear (hexbear.net)

From https://programming.dev/post/3666732 , Dessaline's Lemmy 0.19 Breaking Changes thread.

The comment was removed from lemmy.ml, and the user got a 7-day lemmy.ml ban for violating lemmy.ml's rule 2 (be respectful when disagreeing).

The new instance-blocking feature might not be all bad if it means instances that blocked Hexbear based on a ![i-voted](https://www.hexbear.net/pictrs/image/c816c57a-0e5d-41f8-886d-fa04e8ec9870.png "emoji i-voted") before (like feddit.de) now consider unblocking Hexbear because individual users can now (once their own Lemmy instance upgrades to Lemmy 0.19) block entire instances, if they choose.

This obviously doesn't apply to instances where an admin blocked Hexbear out of the admin's own deep-seated need to purge anyone to the left of themselves.

A kbin user has the most upvoted comment chain on that post.

https://kbin.social/m/meta%40lemm.ee/t/458933/How-do-I-block-all-of-Hexbear-from-All/top

sh.itjust.works and a 1-user Lemmy instance called lemmy.magnor.ovh also see and reply to Hexbear comments, though Hexbear doesn't see their replies:

Kbin doesn't comply as well with ActivityPub standards, and it shows posts and comments from Hexbear, which Kbin users comment on and reply to.

Here's an example of a Kbin user commenting on a Hexbear post. But that kbin.social comment doesn't show up on lemmy.ml, because, after all, Hexbear doesn't federate with kbin.social.

So Kbin users are replying to Hexbear, maybe with the intent of rebutting, and Hexbear users never respond. If I were a lib, I'd think I won an argument or something
