Feature Request? (lemmy.world)

Ok so... I was thinking about this in the Sync for Reddit app originally... Maybe the "feature" I'm thinking of already exists and you all already know it but...

I've blocked like... A shitload of people (on sync for reddit... Mostly... But here too sort of) ...

Anyways... Occasionally I want to reconsider a blocking and I would appreciate if there an easy way to view, review, and revise that list within Sync for Lemmy...

If it already exists, my apologies to LJ

Look... All I have to say is... Support the Internet Archive!

Revanced & being a mod doesn't seem to matter anymore.

I can still view the front page but no comments, profile, individual subreddits, etcetera now.

This is the same for me on both Sync and Boost.

Surely, I can't be the only one.

Combined with their recent shenanigans with old.reddit.com I'm finally feeling more ready to just let it go finally because there is no freaking way I'm going to use new or their crummy ad_riddled app.

Videos are a terrible way to communicate small amounts of information and these comments aren't super insightful so I guess I'll just move on.

And the artists still don't really make shit from it.

Colorado used to disallow collection of rainwater too because people further down the line supposedly had the rights to that water.

You're now allowed something like 2 - 30 gallon barrels to collect it here now.

I wish articles were still just articles.... I don't want to read an ad for a stupid podcast that I won't listen to or YouTube video I won't watch.

[-] scottywh@lemmy.world 76 points 11 months ago

This article is total bullshit.

It claims at one point that vapes are being marketed as "nicotine-free" "despite containing nicotine" and then links to another article on their own site that makes the claim that vapes marketed as "nicotine-free" "most likely still contain nicotine" to support that assertion.

This definitely doesn't belong in a science community.

Already legal in Colorado.

How about instead of worrying about making it more popular we concentrate on making it better?

Eliminate all the shitty worthless content and spammy replies that people brought over with them from the shit hole that shall not be named and focus our efforts on creating quality content that users (particularly the ones that are already here) actually enjoy and engage with.

That's my two cents on it anyway.

How about if normalized not fucking linking YouTube videos for topics that seem like news?

I will read an article but I'm not going to click through and watch some random ass length video from some random ass "content creator" who probably has a worthless opinion to begin with.

What I don't understand is why people wound even want to use this app...

What possible appeal could it have?

That man has got to legitimately be one of the stupidest motherfuckers to ever luck his ass into a pile of money.
