Remake -> Take an old game and remake it from the ground up. Like different graphics, engine or even gameplay.

Re-release -> Simply release an older game again, possibly on another system, but don't do anything beyond perhaps the most basic of fixes to ensure compatibility.

I tend to usually get distracted by side quests for some reason, but yeah each person plays their own way. The main thing is that you have fun, and that's the most important thing.

Yeah it does hurt immersion, but for some reason they're fun to do still.
