Hey there,

After all these years, is there any chance for having a Stremio alternative for iOS and tvOS?

Stremio has all that helpful plugins, and steaming platforms are just assholes increasing prices, and reducing the quality of their products.

Many assertions without any proof. Could you at least point out the sources for such statements?

Best wishes! 🤘

Yes, it is. You may want to sideload using Sideloadly, it has a guide you can follow easily.

The only cons with sideloading is that you must refresh the apps every 7 days (which is not difficult).

I think you may try sideloading these apps:

For YouTube: uYouPlus A mod YouTube app with SponsorBlock.

For Spotify: Spotube An open-source app that you can connect with your Spotify account, and it reproduces the music from YouTube (without ads)

I hope it helps you :)

Great insights!

I am almost giving up because my setup isn’t working properly. I really cannot see what is the problem. I have everything installed and running, but I could not follow the TRaSH Guides, nor the very few videos available outside there.

What am I waiting of it? “Simple.” To open Jellyseerr, look for something I want to add to my library (series or movies), then have it available on Jellyfin (through my server), doing the automatic download using RD.

I am missing something, and I really don’t know what is it.

Do you have any suggestions of a step-by-step guide? If yes, I would appreciate it so much!

Because Stremio is not available on my platforms (f#<|!ng 🍎), unfortunately.

Regarding the speed of my internet, that it is not a problem (I have 1000mb downloading), neither with the max resolution (my tv supports 4k). Now, regarding the sound and storage you have a point here. I need to increase my RPi storage capacity. Another issue could be the content language, I need at least 3 different ones, and not just subtitles. Thanks for it!

Trash guides seems to be exactly what I need. Thanks for your answer!

Hi there!

I have these running on my RPi 4 with DietPi OS: -Jellyfin -Sonarr -Radarr -Prowlarr -Bazarr -qBittorrent -Jackett -Jellyseerr

Also, I have Real Debrid.

I am struggling with the setup. What should I do next? Any advice or suggestions? Do I have redundant programs? Does anybody know how to set up them?

Thanks in advance for your help :)

That is exactly my fear. If I need to build my private streaming station, I will need too much storage (I still do not know how much exactly).

Furthermore, I want to build on top a Minecraft server for my kid.

Thanks for answering.

Hello everyone.

Well, I’m here to ask for your insights and knowledge.

I have been self-hosting for almost a year already. Mainly proving things like Jellyfin, jellyseer and all the ARRs. All of this with a modest Raspberry Pi 4b using DietPi OS (which I think is great!)

Now, I want to move to the next stage, acquiring a more powerful machine.

What do you recommend for:

A) Mini PC. I want it to fast and with a huge storage (being able to increase it easily) B) SSD or HDD. Which ones. C) Operative System. I would like to stay on Linux.

Any other recommendations?

Finally, I have an adjusted budget, but pretend to save a bit more to have something nice :)

Thanks!

Maybe perplexity?

Great job! Thanks for sharing

What an explanation! Thank you very much!

Right now I’m formatting my RPI, and installing a new OS (DietPi). Also, I’m installing Jellyfin, Jellyseer, and PlexDebrid.

I’ll add my pi to the router as you suggested and test it again. I’ll be back with some feedback.

Hi there,

I’m a newbie here. I have a Raspberry Pi 4 model b. However, I’ve tried to run jellyseer, using Plex Debrid, and then to do the streaming to my Apple TV.

What I don’t know if I should try to use real debrid in another way, or maybe I’m not doing the right thing because I cannot stream properly.

Another concern is about the possibility to install a VPN, I’m using Proton. Should I install a Linux distro first and then, VPN, jellyseer and plex debrid?

Thanks in advance.
