I try to remind myself that, in the great scheme of things (i.e, evolution) a "step forward, two steps back" is a common thing in this chaotic universe of ours.

Meteors, dinosaurs, civil wars, capitalism issues, pandemics, murder, genocide, climatic changes... it's all accounted for.

Of course, the answer is different if you are suffering directly from these things (apart from the meteors and dinosaurs) I mentioned above, then things suddenly get VERY personal and provoke impulsive reactions from our end.

Entendi.

Thats insane.

Here in Brazil I pay around 65-70 dollars per month and then I have full hospitalization coverage and full doctors appointment coverage.

And there are better options lol

This is fantastic news!

Surely its a bit weird to have to use Lutris to launch a frontend for games, but its understandable. If youre a visual person, game collections can feel lackluster on Lutris interface, but, YMMV

This is the epitome of what the Linux community loves to read on the internet. Got any distros in mind?

Bom dia!

2 months ago that was fine.

Now I don't have an app for that, the website on my mobile doesn't open my search and instead tells me to download the official Reddit app, or the subs are nsfw or private.

Sigh, so much for easy answers at a type of the finger :(

I agree. I think it's just good that with all this shitstorm, a lot of the good users migrated to the Lemmy.

We don't need 100% of the Reddit population here, if we just get like 10-20% we will have potential to become the long gone golden age of Reddit.

As a Brazilian, you are forgetting that the reason why "3rd world countries" immigrate to "1st world countries" is because the latter exploited the former as colonies to the max: Brazil, India, Morocco, Senegal, Mexico, list goes on.

1st world countries only could deliver this level of wellbeing to their citizens because some countries were being exploited at the bottom.

When 3rd world citizens watch videos of people of their own country working for Ifood/Uber on the US and making 5x as much due to how shitty their national economy is, the decision to immigrate is obvious. It's really ironic if you think about it that 1st world countries have to pay out of their own pockets to rescue, give food, shelter and pay basic health care for descendants of people their own ancestors exploited
