I've tried it as mouse, I've tried it with left trigger activateb and touch right stick activate and always active

I meant on purpose as in to remove gyro aim for some reason. Though I don't think so, apparently forbidden west has native gyro support.

It's ok if my old profile is invalid, but why is it now not possible to set up gyro again?

It looks like hers got nuked too, it's on the "official" input scheme, and there's no sign of my previous setup, and gyro is off.

I'm hoping this wasn't a intentional change made by the have developer, that would make me pretty salty

Good idea! My last playthrough was on my wife's account, this time I'm borrowing it on mine. I'll try to go back and see what hers is.

I'm trying to configure the gyro to help me aim. I've tried every configuration I can think of, or find online. I'm slamming head into a wall.

From what I can tell, the game now only accepts "steam controller" input. Which means the right joystick isn't actually a joystick, it's a weird virtual joystick, and there's some conversion going on. So when the old methods for getting gyro input are used, ie "as joystick" or "as mouse", the input is completely ignored by the game.

I've tried configuring a fresh controller configuration based on a standard controller, but then the game things I'm trying to use a keyboard and mouse and ignores all controller input.

Now, if I set gyro to "right stick (steam controller logo)", then suddenly the gyro starts affecting the right stick. But instead of being a relative input, as in when I pull the left trigger to aim, use the current gyro position as zero, and all relative movement should be applied to the stick. Instead it is an absolute value, with the movement being relative to the calibrated location of gravity down. So when I pull the left trigger, I immediately stare into the sky.

I think the solution to this is the "auto world tilt" option, but that is only available in the "gyro to joystick" configuration, which of course doesn't work.

Am I missing something completely obvious here? Can someone please guide me in the right direction? I miss gyro aim.

Thanks

Bidet master race.

Got myself one with heated seat, heated water (tankless water heater, not a connection to a hot water tap that takes ages to warm up), and even a hot air dryer thing that I only really use in the winter.

Cost a hundred bucks, best hundred bucks I've ever spent, I'll never go back.

Cold water ones are good too, more practical even, but the water gets cold here in the winter, make your brown eye blue lol

Some people like tinkering. Big Clive has a series of videos on Dubai led bulbs. The government mandates that the bulbs be extra efficient and last extra long, so they are built with more filaments driven at a lower current. They run cooler and last longer. You can do a similar thing with American bulbs if you're handy with a soldering iron.

Honestly, with how poor many of these things are mass produced, opening them up yourself is practically a personal form of quality control. Whether you modify it or not I bet it's less likely to die prematurely or burn your house down than those of a regular person who doesn't open them 🤷‍♂️

Hi there, I've been wanting a framework for awhile now, just haven't pulled the trigger yet. I was perusing the website today, comparing the price and performance of different configurations, when I realized that the 16 needs a 100w power adapter, 180w if you've got the graphics card.

This is a dumb question, because obviously it would charge fine with the lid closed and idling or turned off. Or I could just upgrade my power adapters. But I have a lot of 65w USB C PD chargers in my house and cars, and I was wondering if anyone has tried using them, and if so how effective is it?

Like, 180w is a lot of power. If I'm just working on spreadsheets or something, I'm imagining it would charge just fine? Under a heavier load I would probably start to slip backwards? Where's the line? Movie watching? Light gaming?

Just food for discussion I guess, I still haven't pulled the trigger haha.

Thanks!

The civet processed beans? I'm wondering if it's all hype? Or worth buying a bag to try?

Edit: Thanks for the responses everyone! I'm gonna pass on it 👍

Most of the 24 hour Walmarts and similar stores in my area stopped doing that during COVID, and then never did again. Most close at 10 or 11. I miss going into Meijer at 3am and getting... Whatever I wanted 🤷‍♂️

I'm new to backpacking, did my first trip this year with a hammock and had a great time.

Trying to get my wife into it with me. We're planning on going to Iceland in September, no trees. Plus she sleeps cold so she'll probably be more comfortable if we're in the same tent.

I'm looking to spend as little as possible, we're really not sure this will be our thing going forward, it might just be something I do solo. And we already have a big six person tent for glamping with a big air mattress.

I'm hoping for under $200, less if possible.

But I also don't wanna buy garbage, or carry something excessively heavy.

Suggestions?

As I understand it, there's a range of sizes that are problematic, from small to micro to nano and beyond.

The problem is the more plastic we make, and the smaller it starts, the easier it is for it to get worn down into smaller and smaller bits that become more problematic for us.

One of the problems with all the macro plastics in the ocean is that that as they get churned up and baked in the UV from the sun, smaller and smaller bits break off and become part of the... Everything.

Micro plastics are so prevalent that they can't even do proper studies on how harmful it might be to us, because there are no control groups that have no plastics inside their bodies to compare against. Even babies in the womb have plastic in them. You have plastic in you right now, almost a 100% guarantee.

There's probably more to it than that even, but that's my understanding of it.

Why make it a card then? If it's meant to be stored as a document then it should be the size of an envelope, or a standard A4 sheet.

I keep mine attached to the envelope sized paper it came on. But it shouldn't be a card shape, that encourages people to carry it. My grandpa always carried his.
