I can't even begin to understand how hard it is to make it on Twitch. I assume probably the top 1000 streamers make the real money and the rest 99,5% probably make like $50 per month...

Yes, their cut is 30% which is a lot, but they are pretty much the only big platform out there. Epic games has been trying to get in the game but so far they are not close. Their cut is 15%.

I think they keep your money until reach the threshold. Steam aren't scummy so I'm pretty sure there is no shady stuff going on with your money.

For context: I make indie games and have released two so far and I'm currently working on the third one which is weird as fuck. So the way that Steam works is, they don't send you money anytime you make a sale, but they send all of it at the end of every month. Now September is almost over and I got an e-mail titled "Steam Payment Notification" and I get all hyped up. I open it and read it that the Payment Notification is actually that there is no Payment since I didn't make $100 in sales. Way to hype me up and bring me down, Steam.

It's true, but it's Steam policy. If you haven't reached the threshold for the month, you are not getting a payment. I guess I just have to sell more games and do better next time. I mean with Steam Sale events I will probably get there eventually.

Ooooo love me that period of history!

Hi guys, I have the hunger for more history games. I have to say that usually I'm not a huge AC fan, but last summer I played Odyssey and I'm a huge ancient history nerd and I think that the game and the period were represented very well. (The Story was kinda meh, but serviceable). What other AC game would you recommend for me to play next? What other titles are the most like Odyssey?

Thank you, yeah was going for more of a Ron Swanson, but now I totally see how people can see The Notorious H.I.T.

Oh, man... sorry it's coming off like that. Since it's called the Humorless Toaster, the main inspiration is Ron Swanson. At least that's what I was going for...

Hello guys, I’ve noticed a lot of people here are hungry for more games like the Stanley Parable. After playing the O.G. game and the Deluxe edition I’ve found myself wanting more of this. More of these meta, narrator led, weird humour games! I started work on my called Do Not Press The Button (To Delete The Multiverse). You can check it on Steam here and follow the development.

I’m really open to ideas and suggestions of stuff you maybe miss in The Stanley Parable or mechanics you would like to see or even wacky characters! (So I can shamelessly steal them, nah j.k. I will ask your permission to include your ideas)

I think it's turning out good. What do you think? Here is my Steam Page

Hello, I'm close to releasing my third game called Do Not Press The Button (To Delete The Multiverse) so I would like to get some feedback from players. My only conditions is that you let me watch you play because I need to see player reactions and ask questions at specific moments (whether a level works as intended, or a joke lands properly). Usually it's very chill, fun and we have a great time! Here is the game's Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2336120/Do_Not_Press_The_Button_To_Delete_The_Multiverse/

Comment here or message me if you want to try it and give me some feedback!
