I highly doubt he's making public appearances any longer. Last year he made one public appearance after he was diagnosed with aphasia. Now it looks as if his family is making apperances to update people on his condition. So I figure it's highly doubtful he's approached constantly.
Here's an article/video from a local news source that better explains what happened and who the lawsuit calls out as liable for the accident.
Seems there are possibly two entities that could be liable for the accident.
A. The developers...they did not turn over responsibility of roadwork to the NC DOT after the subdivision was completed, and had no road maintenance plan in place. This also means they would be responsible for marking the roadway that the bridge was out.
B. Google...they had multiple requests to change the map to indicate the bridge was out, and they didn't update their maps. Even Mapquest and Apple Maps have their maps updated.
He was the CEO of Electronic Arts when the controversial loot box monetization was added to FIFA 09. He made news when he called developers “fucking idiots” over some developers’ reluctance to introduce monetization schemes earlier in the development process. There’s also the infamous clip of Riccitiello talking during a shareholder call about charging Battlefield players a dollar to reload their guns.
Look at this guy...I couldn't read all of the Bloomberg article due to paywall, so I don't know if this jackass actually provided proof of these "death threats."
While I don't condone them, it seems awfully convenient that an executive who's known to stir controversy with his monetization strategies received "alleged" death threats. I have a hard time believing it without proof because this guy is a sleaze ball greedy mofo.
I’m shocked that the first openly gay senator Tammy Baldwin is a co-sponsor for the bill. You bet I’m writing her.
I think it funny that there’s an assumption in this thread that these posters are aimed at U.S. tourists when visitors from the U.K. outnumber the Americans by a factor of six to one.
Seriously though, she chose a show that was randomly chosen by the algorithm, she watched it, and more content of that type was suggested to her by the algorithm.
This isn't quite rocket science.
A whopping 80% of bosses regret their initial return-to-office decisions and say they would have approached their plans differently if they had a better understanding of what their employees wanted, according to new research from Envoy.
See, it's never their fault. Look how they're trying to deflect it back to the employees. I would say employees definitely made their wishes known in regards to returning to work. These bosses and executives can fuck off.
I said yesterday in another thread that this was going to be a shit show because of Huffman...I loved last year's r/space. I can say I miss it, but I gave up that community for what I believe to be a better one. They can have it, we can build better communities in Fediverse
Still responsible for the saddest cartoon episode in history...
Yet this little hidden gem rests at the bottom of the page after the article.
Volunteer-made project that fights bots on Reddit is shutting down
Grab some popcorn, the bots are coming.
We had a restaurant in Deforest Wisconsin take almost a half million in COVID funds only to close up shop, and then try to blame Biden and the governor for closing the restaurant.
Spotify currently pays out at 70%. Doubling royalties would cause them to pay out more than they make in subscription and ad revenue. This is why they're shutting down.
