Why? Privacy issues? Security issues? I've been using it for a couple of years now and not had any trouble with it.
You retain no memories of anything that happened during a time stop. If you go back in time, everyone else remembers things normally, but you forgot that period of time completely.
Out of curiosity, how far apart would you say LineageOS and iOS are in terms of privacy?
This seemed more or less inevitable as soon as consoles switched to SSD. Heck, the PS5 (and maybe Series X?) SSDs were faster than what the average joe gamer was using when they came out. In any case, I think it makes sense. If we want higher and higher quality textures, gotta have the bandwidth to support it.
Don’t quote me on this, but I don’t think they are legally able to sell prints or STLs because it’s copyrighted content. It’s why you see those super detailed Star Wars models for free.
I think some still feel some level of guilt about it and naturally, whether consciously or subconsciously, rationalize it with ideas like this. I guess the progression from that is posting about it to show that “yes I pirate, but I’m not a bad person because rationalization”.
