Its a neat lamp...
Dont commet alot but this hits me right in the feels!
Cant even read the article due to ads changing pages shape/position every few seconds .
I was walking through canadain tire, while looking for "propane and propane accessories" and said just that. There was another person who I heard chuckle as we crossed paths, they knew whats up. Was it you by chance?
Yeah, to me the fact that owning an managing homes of people who cant afford their own a business is sickening. Exemplified by REIT's(Realistate Investment Trust - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Real_estate_investment_trust), and other invesment porducts. I was lucky cause my parents lived else ware however the idea that housing is a commonity has made owning it a profitable play for those with a lot of money. (https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/investors-in-ontario-real-estate-market-1.6258199) old article but Im sure it hasnt got better. I dont beleive the answer to the housing/medical/cost of living crisis is even hard to solve make the rich pay their share into social/ infistructure programs, period that simple. Anyway rant over, I hope things get better however they will never get better without people discussing how distopian they are first. And then doing something, one day and one action at a time. My mother beleives things will just get better and "dont stick your neck out youll be alone", I believe every movement and progression in himan history has started with 1 person and grown. I am not saying I am that 1 person, I believe I am not but if I had to be I would be. (Says rants over continues to rant)
I did the opposite, not specifically UCP reasons but they didnt make leaving hard.
Bought this when it was first released on beta, life got busy and it was prown to glitches since it was very incomplete. Just updated it last night and am stocked to make an attempt at a play through :)
Can confirm questtrade is 300$, however they dont have a system to transfer cost basis. I called their 'service' out for what it is incomplete. They sent me the docs to do it myself, I still asked for a refund. They gave me half the fee back into my account(150USD). After which I sent it to my bank bought directly with computer share using wise and terminated the leftovers.
On a family note, my mother was asked to pay two drs fees since her splividend shares got stuck at her brocker while her real shares were at computershare(Cause that makes fucking sense). After some encouragement from me, she talked to them and got the rest DRS'd for no charge(she is at different bank think it was 80$ for DRS).
Buy hold DRS...the rest is just noise.
edit: got the refund about 10 months from original tranfer date
Guess Big Jim is fitting.
Last sentence for sure
