They are alternarives but not competitors, designed for 2 different audiences. Rumble is for people who have self control and can control their emotions. People who can't aeticulate differences and explain how they came to a different point of view seem to get zero traction or no interest on Rumble.
Kick is for livestreaming, Rumble is mainly VOD for people who enjoy disagreements and challenging what pople say, but Rumble does have livestreaming functionality.
