To anyone who thinks music piracy is dead

Welcome to /c/piracy
No netflix or streaming services landlubbers allowed, this is pirates territory.
"to anyone who thinks music piracy is dead:" "Let's bring back music piracy" ๐
Okay, my bad I guess... Music piracy isn't DEAD, but it's not as strong as it used to be, hence the post.
Likely for particular reason: streaming. Most music is easily accessible for a pretty nominal price these days, and often comes with features like Spotify's Discover, which suggest new songs/artists that you might like given what you already listen to. You can't do that with a cd or vinyl. You have to purchase the whole album even if there's only one song on it you'd like listen to.
Piracy is often a response to media being overpriced or inaccessible. Streaming services essentially solve both those issues with a reasonable monthly price for unlimited access and large libraries of high quality music.
