I just realized after esl one Bangkok ended that I did more work while a dota tournament is on going than without.

Like what else is there to do when a series ends 1.5 hours before the next series other than finish up some work?

I remember a game I was playing carry and we lost the lane. mid laner started insulting my mom. So I just said “you don’t deserve to win this” and muted him. I farmend and farmed again and dodged all fights for i dont know 20 minutes. Got my items then joined team and we killed them all and took their towers. After going their hg and taking their tier3 towers we were absolutely sure “we got this” a 100% win! I went to their base and denied my items and died. So I unmuted him and insulted him back then dc game and deleted dota. That was brutal and I don’t proud of it. Nowday after years I just playing chill and mute toxic playerz and just focus on game.

The amount of games that are completely ruined because griefing/wintrading is absurd. The reporting system does nothing, the players face no consequences at all.

People do not realize these 15k mmr accounts that are purely wintraded are literally griefing hundreds of games, getting reported 8 times a game, and still face absolutely 0 issues.

The issue is that there is currently no report system at all. Reporting in immortal does nothing, you can run it down mid 20 games in a row and nothing will happen.

I am praying that valve will address matchmaking with the next patch. Dota is the best game, but the medium we have to play it on is so unregulated it is borderline unplayable.

We are all pretty newish players, I have the most games played with 500 games, friend with the least played games has 40 games (23 losses in a row now, very nice).

We get matched like shit, last game we played against a 10k games played Lone Druid that was lvl14 when our solo lanes were lvl7, went 20 0 kd in the end. Same game featured a 5k games broodmother, denied so many creeps in the early game that I was behind more than half a level at level 3 already :/

Motivation to play is hard to find if you get stomped out of this world like that and its not even the occasional Meepo/Invoker smurf with 2 games played thats annoying, where I can totally understand why the matchmaking cannot immediatly find their correct mmr, but cmon that Lone Druid had no right being matched against us, it makes no sense at all.

I haven't played since they removed Torrent Storm, his agha ability. I know he has the rum passive, and that his aghs is useless now, and shard is the same.

He used to be a magic damage core with heavy disruption. The tidebringer build wasn't playable because everyone was 3-5k HP by 20 minutes.

I'm guessing he is played as a sort of a support now, but probably not the best pick for that role.
