• The incredible sound design. I find this quite underappreciated. Just try listening during any team fight, all of the ability sounds are crisp and clearly defined which really helps navigate chaotic team fights
• The low performance requirements to run a beautiful game

My friend is always flaming teammates, never his fault and he is stuck in Guardian/Crusader since the beginning, yesterday he was playing a match when i see him tp to his outpost when he was next to it in a decisive TF.

Downloaded the replay to check the play (that lead them to losing the game) only to realize he was tping with his mf cursor, i was in shock to realize that, confronted him about it and he tell me thats how he lerned and he knows using tps this way can cause some missplays but he is comfortable with it. the fun part is he learned to use taunts like 4 years ago and he spams it like crazy.

I noticed a while back that this item in Lost Ark called Burning Scale interestingly looks exactly like the Shield of the Burning Scale Dragon Knight Skin.

So a few days ago, I put up this post (https://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/1hfyzma/old//_moba//_player//_new//_to//_dota/) and asked for advice on starting out. I thank everyone for their helpful comments and such, and I took time to read them all and I did learn quite a bit from the videos you all posted and the comments you have written! So, hopefully this doesn't get taken down, but I wanted to share with you how its gone and what I learned!

Game 1: Tidehunter (New Player Mode, 17/1/25, Victory)

• So, turns out I got paired with bots after doing some research

• Despite bots, it was more fun than League or HoTS.

• Having items delivered to you will be a learning curve

• Hitting an ult thats a 5-man is so much more satisfying here than other games (even if its against bots)

• The BIGGEST learning curve isn't item delivery, learning the heroes, or the items, it will be how heroes move. In League and HoTS, your character turns INSTANTLY, while in DOTA 2, it actually does like a 360-scale where it takes a tad bit of time to turn (its not "slow," but it will feel weird) which has caused problems in...

Game 2: Axe (Turbo, 4/11/18, Victory)

• Human players lets gooooo

• "Why is he called Anti-Mage?" *looks at mana bar* "So that's why he is called anti-mage."

• Despite my awful KDA, I was able to feel useful mid-game. I kept getting shredded and focused by the other team in fights, so I bought Blade Mail (It reminded me of Thornmail from League), and when they would dive, I would taunt and turn on my blade mail at the same time, and they took quite a bit of damage while being forced to attack me and my team took care of the rest. We rinsed and repeated this until we won in a comeback

• Mistimed every single Axe ult, oops

• Kept clicking the wrong button to regen health and mana from my stick. oops x2

• Farming was tough

All in all, this was a lot of fun playing this game, and Im excited to play more! In just 2 games I am having so much fun with how complex this game is and how much there is to learn. Maybe I'll make an update post again someday, but for now, time to play more gamessssss
