For a TLDR.. I've been gaming my whole life. I am 36 and looking for something comepititve that you have to use your BRAIN to play...

My only worry is that it has been out for so long.. I don't really know ANYTHING about the game.. Is there even a space for me to LEARN and maybe one day actually be able to be comp.. Or did I miss this train over a decade ago?

Most game i've been playing are just unfulfilling - also, while I respect LoL i seriously do nto want to play that game.

Day off from work, lets grind some MMR.

Game 1: player with Chinese characters in name first pick carry PL. Enemy picks Axe, viper and SD. Never had a chance. Let that one go, tried to hold HG but failed.

Game 2: player with Chinese characters in name, mid viper also first pick. But this time he is good, we win early game but mid game it falls apart. We have an epic HG defense, he buys back and chucks it down mid, says nothing and pings nothing. Me, pos 5 warlock is only one alive. Viper dies. gg

Game 3: 2 players with Chinese characters in name. One of them is a girl and the other isnt chinese, he is some other ethnicity. All game, they call eachother dogs, the other guy (tiny) tosses the firtst guy (mars) on to enemy creeps while the mars is time and time again saving enemy players with spears!

I dont undeerstand what to do here. Every game is ruined by chinese players who either wont communicate or listen or just grief the game by first picking carry.

Should Valve step up their game here? Stricter bans? Better detection systems? Or is this just something we have to accept in an online competitive game? Let’s hear your thoughts.
