The nostalgia hit me hard so I ordered this off of ebay this week. 30GB. Color screen. Just like the one I accidentally left on an airplane back in 2007. Kick. Ass.

(and thanks for nothing, American Airlines!)

justice league

Anybody else watch it?

"Legends" was one of my favorite episodes. With all these superhero movies now, I think some version of that episode would make a good movie.

bawls

I never drink it much myself, but whenever I was at a lan party as a kid, somebody always had a mini fridge stocked full of it.

Used to love playing this on PC. Sequel wasn't bad either.

Nothing more rage inducing than smacking into regular traffic when your almost to the finish line in first place.

The car customization was fun too.

One of the most beloved and long lived game consoles.

Being a part of the Nintendo crowd growing up, this was my first foray into the competition.

I was too young to have a job, but my old man gave me an allowance.

Granted he ment for me to use that on lunch money, but I wanted a ps2 so bad I'd skip lunch one or two days a week and pocket the cash. My plan was to save up for it and hope he'd take me to the store.

I don't remember how long it took me to save, but that day finally came. the old man got a little testy with me, it was really supposed to be lunch money, but I think he was impressed I set a goal and achieved it.

Over time I grew a small collection. The gtas up to San Andreas, twisted metal black, dynasty warriors, Spyro from PS1, ffx, and my favorite dark cloud 1.

Despite some bugs and a few translation issues, I loved the weapon building in dark cloud. I did at least one playthrough where I darn near had toan's final sword.

The gtas was were I got comfy with swearing. Fun but sometimes tedious.

Borrowed echo night and beyond from a friend and loved the atmosphere but I never got around to snagging my own copy.

It was also my first dvd player, had the remote.

So many memories and gems on this system. I only scratched the surface of the library. Regretfully, I ended up selling it a few years later when I got into PC gaming and lan parties and I needed money to build my first rig.

I left the Sony fandom after I moved to pc and never had another playstation. I know I passed up great games on the later systems.

I'm on the fence with modern systems, but I'll always have a fondness for the PS2.

I remember watching this off and on when it came out. I didn't get too into it, but it certainly stood out to me. It's a distinct art style and numerous scenes had an outright cinematic feel to them.

Surprised me when I saw it was Phil Lamar voicing the titular character, used to see him on mad TV as the "ups man" among other characters and skits.

Not sure if it's streaming anywhere but I want to sit down and binge it. I feel like I could appreciate it a bit more now than I did when it premiered.

Good ol sof2 double helix gold. Anybody else a fan?

This was a staple of my lan group. We usually ended up on barnstorm in deathmatch. That map was everyone's favorite. Hours of giving each other mountain dew fueled jumpscares as we'd trek in and out of darkness from one end of the map to the other.

We played the office map quite a bit too, always some turkey in the hallway with an RPG just blasting away.

We'd occasionally play a rooftop deathmatch where everyone only had a knife. That was always good for a few laughs.

I don't think a single lan party happened without playing this game at least once during the evening. So much soda, pizza, and frenzied shouting. Good times.

I think it's available on gog. If I can figure out how to run galaxy on Linux, I might just snatch it up.
